How do I update my Google Chrome, Safari, or Microsoft Edge web browser?

In order to have the best experience, update your web browser in the browser settings.

Both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge update themselves automatically when you restart the browser. Safari will automatically check for updates and prompt you to update the browser when they are available. If you haven't closed your browser in a long time or if you have auto-updates turned off, you may need to update the browser manually.

Google Chrome

Updating Google Chrome begins with opening the browser and clicking the three dots in the upper right corner. For detailed instructions, follow this link to the Google support article: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95414?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en.

Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge automatically updates when you restart the browser. However, there are a few reasons why you might need to update the browser manually.
