The host of a Preciate Social can invite any participant to start a performance displayed to the room.
One of the unique features of Preciate Social is the ability to hold live performances during your virtual events. The host of the social is able to invite any participant, including themselves, to perform to the room.
Once the person has accepted the invitation to perform, they will appear in a rectangular view in the upper right corner of the screen for all of the participants. Meanwhile, the performer will see all of the participants arranged in stadium seating in front of them. This allows the performer to interact with the crowd.
To learn more about how to start and end a performance, continue reading below.
Start a Performance
If you are the host of the social, you will see a "Start Performance" button on the lower right side of the screen.
Then, select which of the social participants you would like to invite to perform. Click their name and click "Start Performance" to send the invitation.
They will see an invitation that looks like this. For the performance to begin, they should click "Accept."
Once the performance has begun, everyone will see the performer appear in the upper right corner of the screen. The attendees can adjust the size of the performance using the icon next to the performer's name, or they can close it completely using the "X."
The music will be replaced by the performer volume control, so everyone can decide how loudly they want to hear the performance. Also, anyone can give recognition to the performer by hovering over the performer video and clicking "Give Recognition."
The performer will see the participants sitting in front of them as pictured below. The performer can adjust the volume of the crowd using the sliding control in the lower right corner.
End a Performance
There are two ways a performance can end. First, the performer themselves can click the "End Performance" button.
The host can also end the performance at any point by clicking the "End Performance" button. When the performance ends, the music will turn back on.
