Activity feeds display recognitions and relevant activity from each users' connections and company.
Activity feeds are the prominent way your users will see and interact with your company's culture. Like other feeds, Preciate's activity feed combines all of the activity that happens with your connections and with your company. As users in your company give and receive recognition, say thanks, and interact with each others' recognitions, the feed will update to make sure your users can stay up to date of the most relevant information. While recognitions make up the majority of the "cards" your users will see in their feeds, there are other cards that will also appear. Below details the different types of cards as well as controls that you have over them.
This is the most common card that will appear in the activity feed whenever a user in your company or connections is recognized.
When users receive recognitions, they can earn achievements. Achievements are awarded when users receive a certain number of each badge. When this happens, an achievement card shows up in the activity feed for everyone in the company and connections.
Companies have a setting that when enabled will prevent each user's achievements from appearing for everyone within the company. Each individual user's achievements will appear within his/her feed, but only his/her achievements.
Users that belong to the same company will automatically be connected. Reference this article for more information on connections. Since they're already connected, notifications of connections made within your network won't show up in the feed. If someone in your network makes a connection with someone else, a card will appear in the feed notifying everyone in the company and your connections about the newly made connection.

Connections Made cards only appear if a user Requests to Connect and that connection is accepted. Adding manually connections do not create these cards in the feed.
When each user signs up with Preciate, they receive a Welcome Recognition from Preciate. This is intended to be welcoming and act as a sample recognition. Users can say thanks to the recognition and understand how a recognition will appear within the feed. The only Welcome Recognition that will appear in the feed, is the user's. Each person within the company and network will not see each other person's Welcome Recognition.

From time to time, Preciate will add Blog cards into the feeds when we believe this information may be relevant or interesting.
